Privacy policy
Torchons & Serviettes is designed to collect the bare minimum. No e-mail, no password, no phone number, no geolocation, no ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Quentin BIZOUARD, a natural person publishing the Torchons & Serviettes app on an individual basis (France). Contact: contact@torchonsetserviettes.app.
2. Data collected, purposes and legal basis
Sign-up does not use a traditional account: no e-mail or password is requested. The data below is the only data processed, all of it required for the service to operate (legal basis: performance of the requested service / legitimate interest in the proper operation of the app).

Not collected: e-mail, password, phone number, geolocation, photos, contacts, banking or payment data.
3. No tracking, no cookies
The app embeds no audience analytics tool, no third-party crash reporter, no advertising tracker. This website sets no cookies and loads no external resources (fonts, scripts, CDN).
4. Recipients and processors
Data is not sold, rented or shared for advertising. It is processed by the strictly necessary technical processors:

The "Buy Me a Coffee" donation service is an external third-party service: if you choose to make a donation there, the transaction data is processed by that third party under its own policy, outside the app.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Data hosting remains in France (Scaleway). The only transfer outside the EU concerns the delivery of push notifications via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (United States). This transfer is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. The content transmitted is limited to what's strictly necessary to display a notification.
6. Retention and deletion
You can delete your account directly from the app (Settings → Household security). Deletion triggers an immediate logical erasure, followed by a definitive purge of the associated data within 30 days. A household left completely inactive is archived after 90 days of inactivity, then purged after 365 days.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability regarding your data.
- Erasure: can be performed immediately and autonomously from the app (account deletion).
- Other rights: exercise them by writing to contact@torchonsetserviettes.app. A reply will be provided within the legal time limits.
You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority CNIL (www.cnil.fr) if you believe the processing is not compliant.
8. Security
No password is stored (the app does not use one). The recovery
code is kept only as an argon2id hash, never in
clear. Communications between the app and the server are
encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
9. Minimum age
The app is intended for people aged 13 or older. It is not designed for children below this age and does not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
This policy may evolve (new feature, change of processor). In case of a material change, the "last updated" date at the top of the page is refreshed. Major changes may be flagged in the app.
